Copper, a pregnant goat, had a bit of unusual assistance leading up to delivering three kids. Pretty Boy, an orange cat, seemed to take on the role of midwife in getting the goat ready to give birth.
Pretty Boy and Copper both live at Operation Fancy Free in West Virginia. When Copper started having contractions, Pretty Boy went into her stall and started massaging her belly with his paws. Copper was quite relaxed about the whole thing and seemed happy to lie there and let Pretty Boy give her a relaxing massage.
Copper delivered three kids without serious complications, and Pretty Boy has been allowed to see the kids during supervised visits. Just like the new kids, Pretty Boy is also receiving plenty of attention.
