Chicago Joe and Boxcar Wilhelmina are catching up on their meals and getting TLC in foster care with the Edmonton Humane Society following a long ride on a freight train.

When we saw headlines earlier this week saying a pair of kittens had been found after making a train trip between Chicago, IL and Edmonton, AB, and learned the kittens were placed in care with the Edmonton Humane Society, we knew this Friday’s weekly video update from the shelter would be devoted to the kittens … and it is.

The Edmonton Humane Society placed the little travelers, named Chicago Joe and Boxcar Wilhelmina, in foster care, and the video tells their story and shows them getting a bath and tucking in to a much needed meal.

EHS writes:

“This video outlines exactly why we value our foster parents so much. It’s an update on how our “boxcar kittens” are doing in foster care. You’ll recall they were found this week in a sealed train car after travelling from Chicago to Edmonton without food and water for 5 days!

“Watch how adorable they are in this video while they get their first bath.”
