A bobcat made its way onto the grounds of the Monroe Corrections Complex in WA state and climbed up onto the roof of the special offenders unit. It was sedated and taken for veterinary care.

After being treated for minor wounds at the Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, the bobcat was transferred to the Sarvey Wildlife Center in Arlington to recuperate before being released back into the wild.
