Pregnant kitty Winter was discovered by a caring person who turned her over to C.A.R.E. – Cat Adoption & Rescue Efforts, Inc. of Henrico, Virginia, where kitten season has already begun. Winter had her 5 kittens in foster care and all are doing well.
C.A.R.E. writes in their introduction to the sweet and touching video below with Winter and her kittens:
“Meet these five adorable baby kittens born in foster care on 3/24! CARE rescued their mom, who was a stray. During the spring and summer, our rescue overflows with calls from kind-hearted people who ask us to take kittens, and it breaks our hearts that we cannot help them all. YOU can help by volunteering as a foster parent or donating to help us spay/neuter, vaccinate, feed, and care for 100+ kittens this summer!”
C.A.R.E. has a Crowdrise Kitten Kampaign fundraising page, where they write: “CARE finds loving forever homes for hundreds of cats and kittens every year. The spring and summer months are when our foster homes fill up with litters of kittens in need of good homes. We recieve calls every day from people who have found abandoned cats or homeless litters of kittens. ”
