Winston Young worked through a narrow opening to bring a tiny kitten up from a space beneath his mother’s porch one day last summer and returned the kitten to its concerned Mama, who waited on the porch.

Winston wrote in introduction to his video that shows the kitten being brought out and sharing some special moments with Mama kitty:

“Rescued a kitten out of a 8-10 foot deep crawlspace that it fallen into. We attached yarn to 4 corners of a mesh netting bag and then had a rope attached to the 4 lengths of yarn. Placed kitten food in an attempt to help attract the trapped kitten. The mother of the kitten eventually brought 3 more kittens out of the crawl space.”

The kitten was glad to be reunited with its Mama, and she was happy to tend to her baby.

After her first kitten was brought out of the space and returned to her, Mama checked him out and gave him some time to nurse, then got the other kittens out herself.
