Lua is the ‘Brave and Beautiful’ kitten who is making a remarkable recovery from an unfortunate and crippling crushing accident that left her unable to walk. Her caregivers at VOKRA (the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association), in Vancouver, BC, and their medical and therapeutic partners have helped Lua to regain much of her mobility in just a matter of months. She is happy and playful, and is much loved by her extended circle of friends.
VOKRA volunteer and cat video creator Doug Brown has helped chronicle Lua’s recovery and her enjoyment of life. Our posts from October 26 and December 4, 2013 – Lua the Brave and Beautiful Kitten and Lua The Brave & Beautiful Kitten – Part 2 – Lua’s Progress feature two of Doug’s videos on Lua.
Doug’s new video shows Lua as she visits his home and his cats Panther, Monkey and Thunder over the Christmas holidays.
Doug writes: “One of the highlights of our holidays was a visit by Lua, her foster parents Dania and Martin and our friend Alannah on Boxing Day 2013.”
It’s hard to believe that the beautiful cat in the new video is the same injured baby from last October, when we first saw her.
