A Tennessee family did not think twice before taking a box cutter, a kitchen knife, a hammer and crow bar to the recliner couch they had gotten for Christmas, two days before, when their cat was near death, trapped in the mechanism.
Mia was saved from the very dangerous situation, thanks to her family, an off-duty police officer neighbor, and a volunteer firefighter, who ultimately freed the distressed cat.
