Boxcar Kittens Update & Story of Missing Cat Found After 5 Months

In this week’s video shelter news report, the Edmonton Humane Society gives an update on Chicago Joe and Boxcar Wilhelmina, the “Boxcar Kittens” who were found after making a train trip between Chicago, IL and Edmonton, AB sealed into a freight car last month. The Humane Society also shares the story of Riley, who was missing from his South Edmonton home for five months before being found this week in Leduc, 27 kilometers/16 miles away. Thanks to his microchip, Riley was reunited with his grateful petmom at the shelter.

A third brief story highlighting the problem of abandonment tells of a litter of kittens left in a box near a bus stop.
