One family in Leven, Fife, Scotland has their Christmas miracle. Their cat, Alfie, has been found after being missing for four long years. Just in time for Christmas, Alfie is home once again.

Mandy Hynd had given up hope of finding Alfie. When the cat went missing, she, her husband, and their three children searched for the cat. Alfie simply went wandering and didn’t come home, so Mandy’sposted messages on Facebook and posted flyers around the town, but no one found the cat. When the family moved from Kennoway to Leven, it seemed like they would never see Alfie again.

But one day Mandy’s’s husband was at the vet’s office and saw a poster with a photo of a cat that looked an awful lot like Alfie. He photographed the poster and sent the message to Mandy, who agreed that the cat could be Alfie. Mandy called the vet’s office and explained Alfie’s story.

The next day, Mandy went into the office to meet the orange cat who had been found. She knew immediately that it was Alfie. Mandy’s children, who had continued to talk about Alfie during the four years he was missing, were elated to be able to bring their cat home again.

No one knows just what Alfie’s been up to, but it’s clear that he’s had a tough time. He is missing a piece of his ear and had a tooth go through his lip. Now Alfie is adjusting to life with other cats and dogs, but the Hynd family is delighted to have him home again.
