Okay, so it may not be accurate that cats and kittens, at least of the domestic variety of which most of us are familiar, were around in Jurassic times, however, there is evidence they have been around for a very, very, VERY long time.  In fact, several scientific studies show that as recent as (well, when compared to how old the earth is, this is comparatively recent) 5,000 years ago cats were in the early stages of domestication and additional research indicates somewhere around 10,000 years ago cats chose to hang out with us.  Wowser!

However, for those of you who may prefer ancient felines in action verses scientific research, this may be the solution.  Okay, not really, but it is entertaining.

Who says science and artistic expression can’t mix?  So maybe it isn’t EXACTLY fact-based, but it is funny.  You can see more Jurassic kittens and other great takes on Hollywood blockbusters, plus much more, at khanandkittens tumblr page.
