The Furball kitties enjoy some of the trappings of an American 4th of July. They do not like the bangs and the booms, though, and made this PSA in their own inimitable style.

Humane societies and shelters typically take in more stray animals during the Fourth of July holiday because many pets are scared off by fireworks. The booming sounds are very scary to animals. Please keep pets safe on the 4th Of July.

The Furball Kitties live in America and on July 4th, we celebrate Independence Day. Our house is right by the beach in Los Angeles, so on the 4th of July it is very crazy with millions of beach goers who party all day waiting for several big firework shows that are very near our home. The popping and booming sounds start early and go late. Also because we live in a fire area, we must be very careful. As soon as the noise starts all the cats run under the bed and stay there for many hours until the coast is clear.
The Furball Fable Cats are – Merlin, Fairy, Elfin, Buddha and Yogi.
