A series of photos show the rescued kittens recovering in the care of Angelcat Haven.
We posted on May 22 about the ten kittens found on a roadside in Foxboro, MA on a hot day last weekend, taped into a cardboard box marked “FREE Kittens”, in Ten Kittens Found Taped Into a Box Marked FREE Are Rescued and Saved From a Tragic Ending. The kittens were frightened, hungry, dehydrated and exhausted, but were saved before their situation turned dire.
They are in the care of Angelcat Haven, of Plainville, MA, where they are recovering from their ordeal. As of Saturday, some of the kittens were still experiencing vomiting and diarrhea, but all are eating and playing, and Angelcat Haven is optimistic about their recovery and their future. The kittens will be fostered until they are ready for adoption. The shelter has posted a couple of updates this week at their Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue Facebook page.
News report from Monday, May 21, shortly after the rescue.
