I didn’t notice that until you called attention to it. That is so cool!
The first time through I thought I saw the pupil reaction and had to go back a few times to confirm it. Cool they caught it on camera. I’ve seen that happen with my own cats when they suddenly want to become aggressive or play fight, or spy a toy they want to tear apart.
And with one of mine, I know better to engage when I see the pupils suddenly dilate like that. He is a huge Maine Coon we adopted and is known to be the Peace Keeper of the household. He will not tolerate even play-fighting between the other two, who always spar for the best spot. Both winner and loser will get his paw if the fight goes on more than a half minute.
