Luna the cat became very concerned and decided to nurse and mother the puppies of her family’s Dogo Argentino dog Nube when she heard their cries.
Luna is spayed and is not a Mama cat, but her instincts kicked in when she sensed that the babies needed her.
Mama dog was fine and was well able to take care of the babies herself, but she deferred to Luna’s mothering and the two shared caretaking duties for the pups.
The video was made earlier this year.
In another video with Luna and Nube, the dog is very deferential and accepts the feline’s status at “Top Cat.”
