A kitten in Pinecrest, Florida was rescued from a car’s engine compartment by Pinecrest village police, only to run off and try to climb up into another car.

Good Samaritan Brett Werner caught the kitten before it could hide in the second car’s engine and said: “I went for Chicken Kitchen, and I caught a cat, a baby kitten.”

The police are caring for the kitten and hope to find it a good home.
