The cute ginger kitten seen here crossed state lines when hitching a ride in a woman’s car engine one day last week, making the 35 mile trip between Cairo, GA and Tallahasee, FL as the woman drove to work.
The woman said she heard a screaming sound when she stopped at a gas station but didn’t know where the sound was coming from.
Co-worker Curtis White took a look under the hood and found the kitten trapped inside.
“This little guy was hopelessly stuck down into this part of the car just inches away from turning belts, fans and everything else bad,” said White, who worked to free the kitten.
The kitten found a home with one of the woman’s co-workers.
