The kitten is huddled in the engine compartment.

Daniel Linares rescued a kitten that had been seen around in a Queens, NY neighborhood, when it took shelter inside his car’s engine compartment.

Daniel posted this video on Monday, October 7, and wrote:

“For the last couple days a little kitten has been hiding out under a couple of cars in the area. It finally jumped into my car and we had to try and do something about it.”

The tiny kitten meowed in distress as its rescuers worked to free it. One of the rescuers – though not an expert in cat care, from the looks of it – took the kitten in and cared for it until a neighbor adopted it and gave it a good home.
