A trio of gray and white kittens were rescued from a ceiling at Miami International Airport on Saturday after someone reported hearing noises. Airport maintenance staffers assisted a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crew in the rescue.
The rescuers searched for Mama kitty but she was not found. The firefighters are caring for the kittens, and are offering them for adoption.
The set of photos seen here made the rounds of social media over the weekend after being shared at Twitter by firefighters.
Miami International Airport shared the story at Facebook on Saturday, saying:
“A big shout-out to our Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Engine 12 team! A noise complaint for the team and our maintenance staff turned out to be a rescue of three kittens from the ceiling at Concourse J. Mamma was nowhere to be found and now these little guys need a home. If you’re interested, email [email protected]”
