A cat trapped behind a wall at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, VA was rescued thanks to the combined efforts of airport police and fire crews and a local animal welfare organization.

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington posted the kitty’s photo to Facebook yesterday, saying:

“Never a dull moment at the League! Our animal control officers received a call last Thursday about a cat trapped in a wall at National Airport. Our ACOs along with airport police and fire retrieved the cat from the wall. The cat is at the shelter and is being held for the stray period. If no one claims that cat it will be evaluated to go on view for adoption when the stray hold period ends.”
