Danielle Tiger the cat ended up safe at Animal Rescue Inc., in New Freedom, Pennsylvania after a nearly four-week ordeal in an 80 foot tree in Baltimore, Maryland.

Animal Rescue, Inc. was told about the cat by a Baltimore resident who emailed them last week, and took to Facebook asking for help. Tree Health Care, of York County, responded to the plea, drove to Baltimore and made the rescue.

Arborist Christapher Tattersall spoke about the situation and speculated on how the cat managed to survive.

Tattersall told Fox 43: “”Somebody’s got [to] watch out for him. You wouldn’t want to be left in a tree for three weeks to suffer, so why not help him?”

The rescue says the cat was somewhat dehydrated and hungry but seemed otherwise ok. They told Fox 43 they would care for the cat until his family reclaimed him.
