Burnadette suffered from smoke inhalation after she was rescued from an apartment fire in in January. She was treated at the scene and spent a week in an oxygen chamber. Her caretakers at Feline Friends say she’s ready for adoption and they are confident that she will find a new home.

Beautiful Burnadette lost her home, her family and her babies as a result of a fire. Burnadette and her babies were rescued by neighbors and then treated with pet oxygen masks at the scene of the fire, but the babies sadly succumbed. Her petmom gave her up so she could be cared for in a responsible manner, and get needed medical care. Deerfield Beach, Florida no-kill rescue organization Feline Friends  took Burnadette into their care and say she is ready to find a good, new life now. The group say she would have a home with them forever, but they feel that she will easily be adopted.

You can learn about the group at their website, or visit the group at Feline Friends on Facebook.
