Toronto will be hosting the Just For Cats Video Festival on April 18. With the news that this year’s headliner will be Lil BUB, the national launch is set to be big stuff including an exclusive reel of the best internet cat videos coordinated by the creator of Henri Le Chat Noir, Will Braden and the Walker Art Center.
Believe it or not, it was more difficult to procure tickets to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco, than anyone expected. Certainly, for Joel Shepard, video curator of the center, it was a surprise. Seven screenings completely sold out with people seeking tickets via Craigslist and emailing Shepard pleading for his assistance at gaining admission.
