Heston, a beautiful black cat, looks about like your average house cat. You can tell he’s intelligent – can practically see it in his brilliant yellow eyes – but all in all, the cat is, well, a cat.

But Heston is no ordinary cat. Nicknamed the ‘Devil Cat,’ Heston has certainly earned his name. He attacks visitors to his home in Caldicot, south Wales. The five-year-old cat has injured two postal workers, a delivery driver, and even a mechanic. The cat drew blood from both postal workers – in one case he jumped up and grabbed the worker’s hand through the mail slot. In another instance, Heston attacked a mechanic through the property’s gate, latching onto the man’s ankle.

But Heston doesn’t just limit his attacks to people; the neighbor’s Golden Retriever is afraid to go near the cat’s yard.

Heston’s owner, Bruce Robertson, has posted a sign on the front door warning about the cat, encouraging visitors to keep their fingers out of the mail slot.

Could there be a cause for Heston’s behavior? Fear? Perhaps a physical issue? Who knows, but the cat’s behavior is certain to keep visitors away from the Robertson household.
