“Every year we take our cats to visit Santa at PetSmart. Bella has done it for the last five years and last year was Bristol’s first year (we adopted him through PetSmart Charities that August). As soon as we got him close to Santa, he went crazy. Thanks to an attentive photographer, we got this photo. I’m not sure which makes me laugh more, Bristol’s reaction to Santa or the fact that Bella is not at all fazed by her brother’s reaction to him.” (Photo: AwkwardFamilyPhotos )

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, if only for all the holiday cards, family newsletters, and, of course, those requisite accompanying photos. In the off-chance you don’t receive any this year that tickle your funny bone and fill your heart with holiday spirit, we’ve gathered some of the best around from sites like AwkwardFamilyPhotos and LOLWOT . This is almost as good as an advent calendar.
Enjoy and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
‘Tis the season, although from the looks of the dog playing Baby Jesus, he isn’t too sure what, exactly, that season may be. (Photo: Marcia )

“It started as a sweet family photo where everyone is smiling happily, posing correctly and looking straight into the camera…well, everyone except the cats. And in mere seconds, our sweet baby sister went from a kitty-loving happy little girl, excited to celebrate Christmas, to a hysterical, crying mess as she was attacked by our cat, who was most certainly NOT feeling the Christmas spirit that year!” (Photo: Carrie )

“This is my cat (Gus) and dog (Honey Pie). Honey wouldn’t sit down next to me so I thought it would be a good idea to hold her and Gus. While my sister was getting ready to take the photo they both started fighting. This photo is the end result. That is the look of true fear on my face of being mauled by my cat!” (Photo: Molly )

This family isn’t so much into the matchy-matchy sweater thing. Is that the difference between cat people and dog people? (Photo: Pinterest )
