Cats continue to take over the internet. This time, the uproar is about a very beautiful ginger cat who just happens to have been shaved for surgery. The image has been posted to reddit and imgur with the caption, “My friend’s cat had surgery and now he has no pants,” and it has quickly gone viral.
After being live for three days, the photo had received more than 2,600,000 views on imgur and a staggering 570 comments. It gained an additional 1,039 comments on reddit.
Clearly, the internet isn’t ready to deal with a partially shaved long-haired cat. Some of the comments’ highlights include the following:
“The bottom half looks like an uncooked turkey.”
“Paint me like one of your French girls.”
“This is basically me everyday after work.”
“Fur would ease a lot of body issues for humans.”
“Well at least he can still look professional over Skype so that’s good.”
“His nakedness makes me uncomfortable.”
“It looks like an uncooked turkey and a lion had babies…”
Luckily for this cat, his fur will grow back and he will once again look like a cat, rather than, according to readers, a combination of a cat and an uncooked turkey. We wish this cat well in his surgery recovery.
