Loving tuxedo cat Schnookums has had a profound impact on the lives of vulnerable psychiatric patients since her owner Laxmi Kathuria took her to visit a hospital ward.
As a psychiatrist, Laxmi was thrilled to see the positive effect Schnookums had. She says: “Where words fall short, a purr soothes away the pain.”
