Miami Fire Rescue Saves Kitten From Storm Drain: Now Looking For Adopter

Miami Fire Rescue used special equipment to rescue a kitten trapped down a storm drain. They’ve taken responsibility for their little rescue and now want to find him a home.

Miami, FL Fire Rescue’s Technical Rescue Team personnel brought equipment and manpower to the scene when a kitten could be heard crying from beneath the ground at  NW 5th Street and 7th Avenue in the city on Sunday. Special equipment employed for difficult jobs was put into use, and 45 minutes later the bedraggled little male orange tabby was brought up from the underground drain.

The kitten was washed up at the scene and then posed for news crews before going back to the fire station with his rescuers for something to eat and a good rest. Firefighters say that anyone who wants to visit or adopt the kitten can stop by or contact Miami Fire Station #6, at 701 NW 36th Street in Miami, FL.
