Piper's Unexpected Journey: From Illinois to Panama and Back Again

3 commentsPiper lives at a small airfield near Valmeyer, IL. She went missing 6 weeks ago, and was later found to have taken a journey in a shipping crate carrying a plane to NeW York and then by ship through the Panama canal to Panama. She is back home now.

You know…when I hear these stories, I am always left wondering about Hepatic Lipidosis as an aftermath to not eating at all or eating 50% less than normal for 2 weeks or longer…
So am I.
my cat got that after she went missing for 1 MONTH! she went from to 16 pounds to about 3. good thing she was checked out by the vet. my vet sorted out the problem and she had to take some drops for the liver…now she weighs a whopping 16 pounds again…she is a big girl…but not too fat. just big..
Now about this cat… the things they get into huh???
